Atlantis in Mind

Posted on Nov 05 2000 under Lyrics, Poems & Feelings

Huh!! So you think me a fool
You think I don’t understand
If you feel, you can know just how old is our land
In our his-story, the accepted academics view
Civilized history is no older than 4000 or 5000 BC
Think me silly, just how can that be?
Look at the facts
For tis is not so plain & easy to see
Our earth has changed much over our his-story.
Lost civilization, cultures and creeds
Destroyed & replaced by a planets needs
There are few among the sum
That remembers the myths and stories of old
Share in ancient understandings of the One
Egypt, Sumer, Mayan too
A clue to an ancient race
That landed from a sacred place
Bringing civilisations tools
Understanding & building grace
Laying down in stone, understandings of the past
Messages of origin, eternally fixed in place
Bearing warning to witness
Our fragility in his-stories place
Need to expand our view
Not so simple as our current clues
Have to shake off the present
If you want to get close to our truth
Rediscovering ways long forgotten
Lost long ago, along with our roots
The seeds & magick of our eternal soul
Waiting to be rediscovered, our ancient goals
Deeper understanding of our place & our role
That his-story don’t show
