Why when I sit here watching the news
Listening to the reports of the news & other people’s view
Of the events of our world, politician’s mold of today
Tis always the same, the way they portray the details of the action
That have sprung into the spotlight, the news of the day
Politician’s way, open expose
For me the solutions are so obvious to see
The pains and strife’s of today
Every situation does have its cause
A view that seems to be lost in our day
We don’t seem to tackle at the root
We look for solutions and cures once we have caused the decay
When all we need to do is act in faith that what one wills
Is what we indeed create and manifest
The futures is ours, an imagination fest
It all goes wrong, in all power, control, money and gain
Find the need for security when people vex with what you got
Bigging around, portraying the lie, ignorance of the truth
Spun by them for maximum effect, politician’s have no respect
When have the people every really had their say
How often the referendum, option to stand up and count
Our power gone, the programme running and set
Lost in the news and the way its portrayed, grave situation of today
