Where is the love?
I don’t see it shine
All so lost in personal fantasy
Love got lost – don’t you see
We are not thinking of each other
Solely interested in ourselves
Pleasing all our want and our ways
So so sad is our day
With no love at play
All we do is take, take, take
Not one thought for another’s sake
Selfish indulgence our big mistake
Not open to any others state
You lost in the me and the I
No given thought until you die
Oh why, oh why, oh why
Can’t you see the love
There to lift us up so high
To the highest heights, all selfishness left behind
Love left to shine, why don’t you understand.
