Ecuador – Part17

With no care or thought for the inevitable consequences of their actions or their effect on natural life & surroundings they push on, exploiting anything they can in their quest for profit & wealth. Far too much quantity is taken at a time, causing massive upheaval for the locals & surrounding natural life.
Look at any indigenous tribe see how they care for there resources, animals, plant & surroundings. Labelled primitive or savage in there understanding & ways of life, they are the ones who should be seen are more highly evolved & more civilised.

Our leaders past have much to answer for, only now are we taking the time to watch, learn & understand the natural & spiritual aspects of their lives & cultures. What have we seen? They live within a balance of order & harmony, with themselves & with nature, no greed, no excess, and no ego.

As more people leave behind the self obsessed ego driven lives of today and found time to help fellow man, free from conditions, catches or expectations, it is possible that over short periods of time great changes could be seen in our world.

Why do we have poverty in our world?
Why starvation & suffering on a massive scale?
Why still do we resort to war?
Where did we go wrong?
Why is it this way?
What works?

We are encouraged if not forced to forget our ancient pasts, before Egypt, Sumer, before the flood man lived a very different existence one of harmony, balance & understanding between all life.
We got unruly & greedy & couldn’t control our technology and lost it once before. Down came a big old flood, big enough to nearly wipe us from the face of the earth. Tribes living all over the world have there own tails of how the sky went black & the -heavens open. The waters rose killing all in its path. Many cultures tell of a Noah like figure who was spoken to by god or the spirits, warned and asked to help save natural life. We tend to ignore or ridicule these tales today, labelling them to myth and legend.

There are however a handful of spiritual warriors out there, investigating deep into the truths of our very ancient world. Taking on the suppressive history of today’s academia & trying to break the mould of accepted viewpoints & opinion.

As a footnote on the flood, if needing a reason or a cause then heed this message; karma & its energy amass, if the weights of karma become too unbalanced then the natural release valve for our world is through unique sudden “acts of god” or natural disasters; where the energy build up, the pressure, is strong enough to need releasing so called disasters will occur.

Many times I find myself trying hard to reassure myself that the leaders who run our world are not so completely uniformed as to not understand what we are creating for our future. The pollution, the waste & many of our impending problems just seem to be ignored; the pursuit of profit meanwhile is given all the backing & help needed to expand & conquer the world.

What do they know?

I’d like to know, shouldn’t they be telling us, is it not our right to know given their public position; we want to know if the people in charge of our country have half a clue. Why are they seemingly asleep to the future we face in 10, 20 years time? What will be left in 30, 40 years for our children & our children’s children?
We are gonna die of shame when asked all those seemingly innocent questions by our grandchildren. “Why did you kill all the fish?” or “what was it like when people could have anything they wanted?” maybe “Mummy why is everyone so sad”

There have been far too many films about our world left polluted & dying due to human excess, war, or technology taking over making us the slaves.

Millions sorry billions of our money is spent trying to design more efficient ways to leave our plant and live on artificial stations out in space than is spent constructively on improving life.

George F****** Bush seems happy to spend one trillion dollars (That’s 9 zero’s) on getting a man to Mars, he’s on fucking Mars.

Ah found my reason the leaders are not concerned with the state of our world, they have an “out” a promise on the ark to the Promised Land. Huh you think me a joke. Think about it. When the time comes, off they go up into space, to their whirling, self sufficient doughnut in space. Wait for all the fallout to fall & the resistance crumble then back they come to have it all to themselves, the final greedy act!

Ok possibly over the top but you must agree that there has to be a reason why those in control see no urgency in many situations all around our world. Why aren’t we saving a planet that in desperate need, calling; more like screaming out to us to help, to do our jobs; understand, manage & live within nature.

Why is work like that of Greenpeace paraded on TV with undertones of lunacy & crackpot activist behaviour? Time we all started backing these people there the ones out there risking their lives, spending their time trying to stop corporations doing as they please, dumping what they want, where they want & abusing environmental constrictions without concern .

They choose to pay the fines; they are so low & pathetic compared to the MONEY that can be made from illegal dumping & slack legislation.

It costs a lot of money to dispose of chemical waste & pollutants in the correct facility. The fines that are levied on companies breaking environmental laws need to be raised by a shocking amount of money. The only way a businessman will understand – take his money away. You let them off light you are the crooks & should be replaced immediately.

We are not let of the hook , just look at the array of cleaning & bleaching products we have in our homes, many include chemicals that are harmful to our environment, play your part buy a green detergent that is organic & bio-degradable.
Stop falling for the programming, the brands & household names have sold you an illusion, what life is like, a pre arranged picture, Mr & Mrs Consumer who can be moulded & fashioned into a box existence, just like the food that you are fed, boxed & cadged to serve a purpose.

Organisations like Greenpeace and such are not well supported or funded/sponsored by business, instead they are left to pull dangerous stunt to get even the smallest slice of precious TV air time all for a little public awareness. They are trying to help us but we shun & ignore then?

There are so many issues and situations that need immediate attention but all these and more we easily forget in today’s hectic lives. No time before work, no time after work; then family, bills, holidays & oh so many pleasures. Why would we possibly sit and contemplate how grim our future is going to be soon; order of the chaos will no longer be possible & chaos is back to rule the world, destroying everything it comes in contact with. Hopefully the plants & animals, insects survive & get back to there paradise on earth.

I think that’s quite enough of that; I’m depressing myself again, I’m on holiday I’m meant to be enjoying myself sitting here on a hammock slung between two coconut trees down on the beech. The view, oh so alive, the sound of the sea forever present.

The “depression thing” seems to be why most people ignore things; can’t change it – don’t want to think about it attitude. Everything is so big, so complex, so out of reach and so out of control that no hope is felt, people become numb & detached from the way life is & the issues that are.
